Cardiology Associates of Fairfield County partners with medical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies to offer our patients the opportunity to participate in promising clinical trials. This research may lead to significant improvement in the care and treatment of patients in Fairfield County and around the world.
We currently have patients participating in research related to:
- Anticoagulant medications
- Medication designed to increase HDL-C “Good cholesterol” and reduce cardiovascular risk
- Pacemaker and defibrillator use and programming
- Drug eluting stents
The clinical research staff of Cardiology Associates brings depth of knowledge and experience to the challenges of conducting ethically sound and valuable clinical research.
