Established in1985, the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (formerly NASPExAMinc.) is a self-governing subsidiary organization of the Heart Rhythm Society that provides competency examinations in the fields of cardiac pacing and implantable cardioversion defibrillation. IBHRE/NASPExAM offers a series of three tests for physicians and associated professionals designed to demonstrate mastery in the field of cardiac rhythm management. By passing the IBHRE’s rigorous examinations, Dr. Nelson has earned the designation “IBHRE/NASPExAM MD Testamur”.
